Gary B a year agoI opened a checking account at Wells Fargo today, and while the process was straightforward, the customer service left much to be desired. The banker I worked with was very cold and unhelpful. When I inquired about the new customer bonus, I was simply told I needed a code—without any mention that I could easily obtain one from their website. I later found out that this information was readily available, which made me feel like it was intentionally withheld. Transparency and good customer service go a long way, and unfortunately, that was lacking in my experience.
