Today I went into 10 S Wacker Dr Chicago Il With my two support animals a security guard named Jessie approached me told me I had to leave because no dogs are allowed. I explained to him my dogs are support animals he asked me for documentation, which I told to him that was against the law and ADA. He told me I had to leave I’m so upset with how he treated me and his training in how to deal with people with disabilities. Under the ADA, businesses and public accommodations cannot require documentation or proof that an animal is certified, trained, or licensed as a service animal. They can only ask two questions: 1) Is the animal a service animal required because of a disability? and 2) What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

Perfect location inside the Wells Fargo CALL CENTER building. Google Maps works well if you use your blue bubble on the maps and find north. Not many people can find their own South lol in a hayfield. But this ATM is like a rarity and open all day long via the revolving door by security desk.

ATMs should be easily accessible to anyone. Wells Fargo already has a limited presence in Illinois, so it was frustrating when I used my electric scooter to travel to this ATM so that I could deposit money, only to have the security guard at the building entrance refuse to allow me to roll my scooter 10 feet into the building for 30 seconds to access the ATM machine. Meanwhile, I can roll my scooter into Jersey Mike's, or any other retail outlet, and even my office building down the street without any issues.

Feb 2019 Update: ATM is closed due to construction. Sadly no replacement/spare provided. No other WF ATM is available in a 20mile radius of the city. Talk about another reason to switch banks. ________ Literally the only Wells Fargo ATM in the city of Chicago. Luckily the building it is located in is open 24hrs.

Kevin.. man oh man. This man didn’t only save us at the bank but outside of the bank as well. We came in to handle some things and he took great care of us. We couldn’t get everything handled the first night so we stayed and got it all figured out the next. This nice man guided us into all the right directions. He was the most friendly welcoming gentleman I have ever encountered. He had every answer we needed. When we split ways at the end after he took care of us and it was the saddest thing. Traveling from Michigan to Chicago for one thing ended up being so worth it all for Kevin. We will be back to visit him and make sure he’s doing well :)
